On the subject of learning, I wanted to share two recent articles on that build on the importance.
Because reading does in fact make us more intelligent. Research shows that reading not only helps with fluid intelligence, but with reading comprehension and emotional intelligence as well. You make smarter decisions about yourself and those around you….Reading is like any skill. You have to practice it, regularly and constantly.
But it is important to understand that seeking out new information isn’t enough. You have to be willing to process and apply this information even when it is counter to your previous thinking.
